James Franco on the cover of OUT!

Modern day "rain-man", James Franco is all smiles on the August cover of OUT Magazine. In a spread shot by Gavin Bond, James gives his best smolder in some inspiring looks from the likes of Prada, Hermes, Gucci, Tom Ford and Coach.

James, who is currently enrolled in Hip Hop lessons at the International Dance Academy on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, is also diving head first in his most recent role as actor and director in the HBO series, The Deuce.

Like most of the work James gravitates toward, The Deuce is a gig that put him right in the heart of New York City's Times Square and at the forefront of the 1970's porn industry. James chatted with writer Edmund White about this and everything else from sex and porn, to the actor's eternal obsession with the big apple.
